October 30th is Candy Corn Day

Candy corn is enjoyed all year long. However, the vast majority of candy corn is consumed during the Fall months, with both Halloween and Thanksgiving being the biggest times to eat it.

Candy corn was invented in the 1880’s by George Renninger, and first manufactured by the Wunderle Candy Company.

Candy corn consists primarily of corn syrup, honey, and sugar. There's lots of carbs (sugar), but it's fat free!?   --- Have a happy Candy Corn Day ---

October 30th is also Frankenstein Friday

Frankenstein Friday is always celebrated the last Friday in October. Frankenstein is one of the best known horror characters, dating back to the 1800's.It wouldn’t seem like the Halloween season without the presence of Frankenstein, lurking somewhere in the darkness.

October Is Positive Attitude Month!

One of the first and foremost things to do to change your life is to change your attitude. Attitude is fundamental to the success or failure that we experience in our life.

“Life is 10 percent what you make it and 90 percent how you take it,” says Irving Berlin.

You see, you may look at one thing and say “That’s terrible,” while another person may say, “That’s great!”  
A simple example would be a half a bologna sandwich.  If you are used to filet mignon, you are going to think, “A measly old sandwich? ” To you, a sandwich may be a disappointment.  A hungry or starving  person would have a very different viewpoint!  They would think, “A feast --- I won the lunch lottery!
